RULES AND REGULATIONS

The Regulations – practical issues pertaining to the organization and running of the Club, are set by the Committee.
A few regulations are worth listing below!
All courts are bookable by all sections until 6.00pm. From 6.00pm courts are bookable by full and student members.
Providing the Visitor's Book is signed and the appropriate fee paid, visitors may play at any time. Visitors who wish to play during Club sessions must be at least of the same playing standard as the average Tennis Playing Member of the same sex. Visitors are not permitted to play on more than five occasions in any one year without prior consent of the Committee. The Regulations governing visitors shall apply in the same way to Midweek and Intermediate Members who wish to play outside the periods permitted by Regulations 1.A.2 and 1.A.3, and to Non Playing Members who wish to play at any time.
All players shall wear white tennis shoes which must be rubber soled, without raised heels, spikes, cleats, bars or deep ribbing. All players shall be attired in recognised tennis clothing.
