RULES AND REGULATIONS
A full copy of the Rules and Regulations on TLTC is available in the Clubhouse on the Information Notice Board.
The Rules are the constitution of the Club and set by
an AGM only.
The Regulations – practical issues pertaining to the organization and running of the Club, are set by the Committee.
A few regulations are worth listing below!
BANK HOLIDAYS
All courts are bookable by all sections until 2.00pm. From 2.00 pm – 6.30 pm the rules of social tennis will apply. From 6.30 pm all courts are bookable by Full Members.
VISITORS
Providing the Visitor's Book is signed and the appropriate fee paid, visitors may play at any time. Visitors who wish to play during Club sessions must be at least of the same playing standard as the average Tennis Playing Member of the same sex. Visitors are not permitted to play on more than three occasions in any one year without prior consent of the Committee. The Regulations governing visitors shall apply in the same way to Midweek and Intermediate Members who wish to play outside the periods permitted by Regulations 1.A.2 and 1.A.3, and to Non Playing Members who wish to play at any time.
CLOTHING
All players shall wear white tennis shoes which must be rubber soled, without raised heels, spikes, cleats, bars or deep ribbing. All players shall be attired in recognised tennis clothing.
